Love Doved Up

Here's a collared dove. The foreground and the bushes were quite dark and the dove just had a little bit of bright light on it as it perched on the fence post.

Some folks say that Mr H and I are all loved up. : ) (Shy smile) How lovely that this is true....

Today I have had a little play with GIMP, however ended up doing a little bit of cropping of the pic on my camera.

Good news is that the goldfinches have returned to visit the nyger seeds. I tried some long shots of them on the faraway trees, but they were all too fuzzy. As yet, they are too shy with the window open and me pointing the camera at them. Could hardly blame them, I don't like having my photo taken.

I also visited the hairdresser, and did think about asking if I could take her photo, but chickened out.
