I won, I won!

Well, today has been sooooooooo exciting! We have been to the dog show here in town and I WON some classes!!

It was all very different to the one I went in last week, it was much more organised and a little bit more serious in some of the classes. First up was best puppy. Well, as mum had realised it was a bit serious so she gave me a stern talking too about behaviour because I had to take off my special halti gentle leader collar. Hee hee.......I dragged mum into the ring at full speed, I jumped over a few of the chairs by the side and then LEAPT onto this really well behaved red setter puppy like me. *giggle* The judge was watching me very intently.....

Mum then tried to get control with the chicken......normally, I will smell it and then trot alongside mum to heel, but not today, OH NO SIR REEEE! I leapt 3 foot in the air THREE times, trying to get it from mums hand and I tripped her up as we were doing our walk around the ring. Then I had to stand and show off my figure....but I wasn't in the mood for standing, I kept lying down and then when mum tried to make me stand I would roll over ready for a wrestle.....

Then I got to go and meet the judge so she could "feel" me and look at my teeth! OH BOY....... I dragged mum over to the judge, leapt up 3 feet to try and kiss her then rolled on my back for a wrestle. When she tried to look at my teeth I tried to chew her, it was GREAT! Mum was looking a bit red by then, she said to the judge that this was our first time!! I wanted to say "but mum what about last week??" *giggle*

Then I had to run with mum around the ring. I am GREAT at that because we do it in agility. The judge clapped her hands and said "perfect Lily"!! Phew, well saved at the last minute!

Then the moment of truth........ I got THIRD! YAY! (mum said not to tell you that there were only 4 in the running!) but YAY at least I wasn't last.

Then we met up with my best wrestling pals Dillon and Ruby to watch the rest of the show and wait for our next class.....Best Six Legs!

I had SUCH a good wrestle with my friends. It was a mass bundle. I was getting covered in slobber and our mums kept telling us off as we were supposed to stay smart!

Then it was my turn again.....This time I had my head halti on and my best Cath Kidston Bandana. Mum and I paraded our legs around the ring *giggle* I was MUCH better behaved, I didn't jump up at the judge, I just gave her a friendly lick and batted my eyes at her.

Then the moment of truth..........WE WON!!! We have the best legs in town......Hee hee!! We were VERY excited and we won a bag of treats! I shared some of them with Ruby and Dillon afterwards.

Our mums and daddys were the noisiest in the crowd, they were whoop ,whooping at each other when we were in the ring. I think people thought they were a bit mad!

I had SUCH a great time, in fact such a great time that I have forgotten all about my lost Hoopy yesterday! We may have to go and get it tomorrow if it is still there. I am shattered now and ready for a big sleep.
