Clovis Aquatic Species

We were eating our salad on our small back deck, and once again I was struck by the clovis look to these pilings that we regard in all kinds of light. They support a less than attractive apartment building that is to our rear left - the only bright aspect of the apartment is the changing light and reflection of these pilings, and the fact that there are no parties at water level - the echo is notable!

It was another gorgeous day in Seattle - while the east is in threat from a hurricane. It is always so weird to be in such bounty when others are not.
