Weka's

I went down to the beach to exercise the dog and get a shot for my blip, as I was driving back into the section Doug was sitting on the deck feeding 2 Weka's, we have heard them about the place and caught a few glimpses but this is the first time they have come out to join us. They walk round your feet and eat out your hands, nearly as good to photograph as the Keas.

Going by the things they were doing we will soon have lots of little baby Weka's running around:-)
