That Will Do!

Crowsteps

I was quite excited about attending and arrived early for the Blip-in so sat outside the Department of Informatics with a coffee to watch the throng of Fringe-goers and taxis. This crow seemed to think we might have something edible and marched towards us in a determined fashion; he left, disappointed, to rummage around the other seats.

I, with Mr Flum as my Technical Advisor, checked in at the blip-in and, despite my name not appearing on the list, was allowed entry - the timely arrival of emhowl and Eyelad vouched for my identity (after all, it was she that introduced me to Blip). Once inside, and with a fortifying glass of wine, I bumped into greenzowie, a long-standing friend of the Flum family, and two of her blipping friends. I recognised a few names, and Festival blips which were projected on the screen and was delighted to meet Lady Findhorn, Lali and Shandonner, whose blips I have often seen.

We were all still chatting when time was called and the lights turned off to make us leave. We still weren't finished as we met Marchmont on the way out and stopped for a chat while the cars, taxis and rickshaws created gridlock.

And at last I've seen a famous face, Arthur Smith walked past looking every bit the grumpy old man that he portrays on screen. I'm sure he's very happy really.

We arrived home for a very late supper and it's off to bed for an early start tomorrow, Mr Flum has to be at choir rehearsal and I've offered to chauffeur.
