To and fro

The culmination of five days constant back and forth on the train and motorway between East and West. On Monday G came home from Bristol. On Tuesday H+S went to Reading. On Wednesday we drove the old boy home to London; on Thursday one of us came back by car, and on Friday the other returned by train, meeting G on the platform as he set off back to Bristol again.

The Great Western Railway is forever associated with Brunel. The engineers of the M4 are multiple and nameless.
