Rus in urbe

This mural on the wall of a house in Highbury Grove was designed in 1986 by Dave Bangs, and is now very faded but still adds a grace-note to the street. It faces Highbury Grove School which has been completely rebuilt recently under the late lamented Building Schools for the Future programme. The house itself is now short term supported housing for people with mental health problems (I don't say 'issues'). My friend Chris has lived next door since before the mural was a twinkle in Dave Bangs' eye. That's all I have to say, really. Hadn't blipped for a while, thought it was time I did.
