The word on the street

This cryptic comment on a pavement near Lime Street Station is a reminder of a performance event that took place at last year's Liverpool Biennial visual arts festival. Artist Sonia Khurana invited members of the public to lie down on the ground in public spaces and have their bodies traced in chalk, crime scene style. The interlocking body shapes left behind on the ground created an art work which looked pretty cool.

It's a pity I wasn't blipping a year ago really... Doh!
