Catch-Up Continued...

Steve The Peagull...

So, yesterday evening A and I met at 6:15pm to go out for tea and have a catch-up now that we'd both started our new jobs.

It was now almost half past midnight and we'd just left the pub having failed in any attempt to eat, other than bar snacks. But the wine had flowed!

So the plan was to get a chipper and sit on the benches at the King and then get a taxi. We soon found ourselves at the King, however we'd forgotten to go to the chipper! (Oh dear!) We did however find great amusement at the "peagull" on the King's head!?

We carried on up the road, got some much needed food and sat in a shop doorway to eat our long overdue tea (classy!).

Unfortunately, seagulls in Aberdeen have an ability to smell food before it's even been made and we were soon surrounded by "peagulls". (No idea why A was calling them peagulls?). This was Steve, he was stalking us and was in fact quite menacing. But some friendly passers by were happy enough to shoo him away for us.

Two passers by stopped for a chat. One dressed as a postie, except it seems he wasn't really one... so not entirely sure where he got the uniform? For some reason the conversation turned to music and before long we were singing Jackson quite loudly in the street.

Drunks.

One more time check and it was half past one... oops... work in a few hours.

Needless to say it was a little hard getting up this morning!
