Looking up...

....at the evening sun streaming through our Stipa gigantea - now a little past its best.

A good day! Ben comfortably passed his Maths GCSE despite shaking so much during the first paper that he could hardly hold his pen. And Alex surprised us all by getting an A in his English IGCSE! He's fairly dyslexic and just a couple of years ago had real trouble producing any sustained writing. He would rather have done almost anything else in the world other than put pen to paper! He did very little preparation before the exam and I'm just flabbergasted at what he's achieved.

I'm blipping early tonight as we're off to the cinema with Ben to celebrate!! I'm sure Alex is celebrating in style at Leeds!
