Montreal sometimes needs a face lift

This is the lintel on top of an old bank building's main door. Located in Verdun, dating from 1901, the building is used as some community center and is badly in need of a facelift and the lintel more particularly. Its wood is cracked and the layers of paint chipping from neglect. Montreal is not always good at preserving the past.
