The Eye from Trafalgar Square
An appointment with jolly Geordie Colin in Poland Street this morning to show him my book is followed by a walk through town.
A typically awful London day weather-wise, but the dramatic clouds give me an idea. There is a hotel I know with a bar on the roof, just off Trafalgar Square (a good vantage point for an unusual view of London).
When I get up there the roof terrace was closed due to 'bad weather' not surprisingly, but a friendly Polish waitress unlocked the door for me, so I could take a couple of snaps.
