So my youngest daughters homework for the week was kinda really, really COOL.
Kindergarten is awsome and I want to go back.

This weeks assignment at home:
We are starting a unit on Insects. As part of this process each child will be rewuired to create a 3-D insect at home. These should not be based on "real" insects such as ants, flies and others. Your child should INVENT a new insect creature.... (THAT is too cool. My teachers sucked, this is artistic freedom to the hilt!)

The criteria for an insect is as follows
-3 main body parts
- six legs (or more)
may or maynot have wings

use any materials your child feels will represent his/her vision of their insect.


HELP US NAME THIS NEW SPECIES????? This was a cool and fun task....
