It's not about the photo today

We visited Unst today and after visiting the most Northerly everything, we went for a walk to a mystical land. Starting off from Shure Taings we cimbed up past the wonderfully named Horns of Hagmark before reaching the summit of Hill of Clibberswick. All names that any Harry Potter movie would gladly use!

Nearing the summit on the edge of a precipice, 160 metres above the sea, I was buzzed by one and then another. Quickly identified as swifts I was very excited. Where they had come from is anyones guess - most likely Scandinavia and now returning South to overwinter in Africa. What an amazing wee bird. Good luck to them all and may the wind be behind them the whole journey.

My photo is a poor effort but they were fast - very fast and today it's not about the photo, but the journey.
