Geocaching!

This morning we decided we would try our hand at Geocaching or Treasure Hunting as we told Spence! We found that there were three in Sandy Point just near us and more a bit further afield!

We headed out to the first one and went for a lovely walk along a path towards the beach. There is a compass associated with the geocaching app we found and it led us to a lookout I didn't know was there! We looked around for a bit but just couldn't find the cache!

We decided to go hunting for the second one which led us up another path towards the beach that we hadn't been on either! We headed up into the sand dunes and found the cache!! It was such an adrenaline rush!! We left a little prize in the container and Spence took out 5 cents that was in there!!

We went into Foster to go to the supermarket, then had a picnic in the park and discovered that there was supposed to be another cache right near the park! We went hunting but couldn't find that one either!! We came home, Spence had a sleep, then at about 5.30pm we went down to beach near us searching for another one that was there! We found it sneakily hidden in a small container then went down onto the beach for a play!

We will definitely be going on more Treasure Hunting adventures!! Spence had a ball and Kaz and I did too!!
