Curls and weeds

On a stroll around the village this morning before it gets too hot. I love this weather, but it's not really sensible to go out in the sun in the middle of the day so we'll stay indoors until it gets cooler then go to Mas Rolland to buy goats' cheese and to the lake at Vailhan for a swim.

This is one of the newer houses in the village, built in the nineteenth century, a rich time for the wine industry in the Midi, when people could afford some decoration on their doors and stonework.
