Absolutely stunning morning in Wanaka this morning, and off skiing with the family and the cousins.

Well, it was day of herding cats. 8 people, 4 of them under 10, and lots of gear to get organised. We tried to leave at 9, gear kept going missing, ski boots got submerged in water troughs, boots got left behind, as did goggles. Boy, what a mission!

But we did eventually make it, and arrived at the top of Captains at Cardrona at noon, Yep, noon.

And then we had a great afternoon skiing. Fun for all the cuzzies to ski together. Lunch, several stops, and a few mogul runs for the more adventurous. Fab day.

Home, in the spa for the kids, and a super spectacular sunset.

A big birthday (9) for one of the cuzzies tomorrow. Early to bed (and no complaints!)
