Phanatic Night

Went to the Philadelphia Phillies baseball game tonight (Hannah's 1st time there). Had great seats off 1st base. 3rd inning we were winning, but it started to rain, heavily. Add in lightning & thunder & out came the tarps. Game delayed. Had to take cover & endure 1 hr. 45 mins. of tight standing quarters. Almost 10pm, it's still pouring with lightning behind us. No word on game status, but we couldn't imagine how it would resume. We left. Got 10 mins. into drive home, turn on radio, & hear the game is going to restart in 15 mins. Can't get back in gates after you exit, so basically we spend $65 X 3 tickets, dinner at the stadium, bought a $50 shirt & got 3 innings. The 1 1/2 drive home was not happy!! Hannah was upset, husband & I were livid. Talk about a black cloud.... Anyhow, I got some shots early thankfully. This is pregame, with the mascot, the Phillie Phanatic playing catcher! Love those shoes! He is hysterical!!
