Moments in a minor key

SPOT THE ANGLER.

"I look into... my fly box, and think about all the elements I should consider in choosing the perfect fly: water temperature, what stage of development the bugs are in, what the fish are eating right now. Then I remember what a guide told me: 'Ninety percent of what a trout eats is brown and fuzzy and about five-eighths of an inch long."

We drove over to Bolton Bridge after work just for a little stroll whilst the best of todays weather gave in and the cloud rolled over. Sat on a bench ad spent a good few minuets watching a fly fisherman casting his line & thought how much I admired his patience, my attempts at the noble fight between man & fish always ended in the fish winning so by the age of fourteen I gave up.
