Dock of the Bay

This is not the dock of the bay that Otis Redding sang about (he was singing about Sausalito, from what I understand, which is about 40+ miles north of here).
This is in Redwood City, and it's a leisure boat harbor which is adjacent to the office campus (in the distance) where companies like Dreamworks are located. The company I work for also has a large operation in these buildings, and at least once a week I get to come here.

My back is to a very different scene, which I will show in a subsequent blip for contrast - it's part of the San Francisco Bay area's natural resources and earlier commercial activity before the advent of the several waves of technology development and the earlier defense industry booms.
