Calendula

A grey old day - not even worth going out and about this evening as the light was so dreary and a slight nip in the wind. I may be becoming a bit of a softy!

A visit to the optician this morning who informs me that the fuzziness is due to my eyes healing and the skin being dry. Nice image. So he gave me some more drops and some gel to apply along with free advice on water consumption. I spent the rest of the day wandering around looking as if a couple of slugs had slithered across my eyes. A very professional look I feel. On the plus side my eyelashes are looking rather glossy

The calendula was bright orange but was shot, idiotically with a backdrop of paving stones, so it had to fall in line. Kind of matches the day though :)

Looking forward to an evening out with some friends from work tomorrow. Always makes me smile when I listen to their banter
