elephant!

we thought we were pretty lucky yesterday to see a group of elephants invade the campsite. today we were at chobe national park in botswana and saw hundreds of elephants!

the game drive was just at the right time of night when the elephants were making their way down to the river meaning lots of them were crossing the path just next to our vehicle.

i've seen a lot of elephants but never this close. breathtaking!

lots of hippos and giraffes too but unfortunately no lions this time.
