Butter wouln't melt...but what about pheasants?

Chloe wasn't quite sure about sitting here. It is a sculpture on the side of Derwentwater called 'Entrusted' and celebrates 100 years of the National Trust. Chloe loves the walk round the lake because she can do lots of running around in the woods beside the lake. Today she vanishesd for a few moments and returned with a young pheasant in her mouth! Oh dear! (Or hee hee as Lily the lab would say) Like a good gun-dog Chloe handed it over straight away and when Trev picked it up and put it back in the wood it trotted off but there are a lot of pheasant feeding areas in the wood so I think it will be the lead for Chloe in future.
