breakfast perfection

after yesterday's blackberry haul and afternoon spent making scones, i was more than excited for this morning's breakfast.

i served myself up a scone, slightly warmed in a hot oven, paired with a dollop of american spoon lemon curd (the best there is, really) and a dollop of fresh whipped shetler dairy cream.

eaten with my morning cup of coffee, on the deck overlooking lake michigan - it surely was a blissful morning!
