Heroic French ant

French ants, at least those which populated the garden in the house where we stayed in Sorede, make British ants look a bit pathetic. This one measured about 1cm end to end, and dragged this biscuit crumb for several metres across the patio, and then backwards up and over the wall you see him on here. Brilliant.
