More seriously, as many other Kiwis and Aussies have posted, today is Anzac Day. For most people "it's just a holiday" so it's brilliant to see fellow Blippers treating it as it should be. And there are some great photos.

We didnt commemorate the day actually, simply because of the kids - aged 3 and 6. How do you explain people leaving for another country with the sole purpose of trying to kill other people. Death isn't the issue, it's an often discussed topic, and our kids try to save insects and animals, even that nasty ones ... But war is a subject we thought we'd leave for another year or two. It's bloody sad that kids have to grow up and see how ugly the world was/is/will be ...

Having said that, utmost respect for all those people who did give their lives. So sad it had to happen.

Anyway, the ducks backside has nothing to do with this. It made me smile, and that is a good thing.
