Hill loch expedition

Stopped in for a coffee with Bruce Sandison and also picked up some tips on good lochs in the area. One that he recommended we had planned to visit anyway this afternoon.

A hike up in the waders to the west of the Kyle for about 1 hour and we reached the lovely isolated Loch a' Bhualaidh which was supposed to have some big fish.

It was a cool wind though and that usually makes it hard. Dave saw a couple of decent fish near the east bank and one went for my fly but it didn't hang on.

Great to get out into the real wild fishing and some fantastic views of the mountains. This is Ben Loyal again on the way back.
