Snog
I got a fair bit of video editing done today, so I took a break mid afternoon for a trip to the spa and a mission to get a blip.
By the time I got up to the Royal Mile which, lets face it, is usually easy blip-pickings at this time of year, it was about six and there wasn't nearly as much going on. Very little in the way of costumes or make-up or elaborate street performance. Plenty in the way of rain and drizzle though. there were a few people grimly hanging on trying to get flyers out and tell people about their shows, but no great photo opportunities.
I was about to give up when a crowd appeared with stickers plastered over there faces. It turned out they were from a show called "Cab fare for the common man". I liked the play on words so hung about to see what they'd do. It turned out they had arranged a FlashMob Snog for the high street. In the end it didn't tell me an awful lot about their show other than that it's on at five past two every day at the space at Jury's, but I did get a blip out of it.
