Apples

My friend/colleague Sandy's dad grows lots of lovely things in his Cambridgeshire garden and here you can see some of the fruits (!) of his labours.

In between sorting out people's Wills I've been Googling apple recipes.

Funny old day really. Had to drop the OM at Ashford Hospital for some tests early this morning. Bit very worried what they might find but all OK.

Rather than drive back home I parked at Ashford station and went into work on that line. Thing was I had to remember I'd parked at Ashford and had to go home that way. (The OM was discharged by 11.30am and got a friend to pick him.)

I remembered I was going to Ashford tonight but then got on the wrong train. Luckily I realised my mistake at Richmond and got off at Twickenham. While I was waiting for my train there I quickly blipped the bag of apples.

Sooo, I think I will make: apple crumble, Dorset apple cake, apple and saltana muffins, French apple tart .....
