Pasque flower

Today I was visiting a conference, and found these lovely pasque flowers during my lunch walk.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that these flowers are often found on ancient grave fields - like in this case. In this place I think there are four grave fields - the oldest from the bronze age (c. 3000 years ago) and the youngest from iron age.
