Talk-athon

I am meeting my friend Carol after work, for a nosh and a natter at the local pub. It is her birthday so I am looking forward to seeing her.
We met many years ago at night school, when we were striving to become accountants . We sat next to each other for two nights a week for two years, so we became firm friends.
Our next night school course was cookery , something to ensure we still met up , and something less stressful (oh yeah ! & that's another story .. )
When we meet, we talk, and talk and talk and talk. We shall probably talk for at least two hours non stop tonight , maybe longer ...

When I get home, my husband will ask if I have had a nice evening, and how was Carol.
"What did she have to say?" , he will ask.....
To which I reply ...... " Oh not a lot, just the usual stuff " :-)))))
