Heavenly Blue

This morning was fairly cool until about 10:00, then once the morning clouds drifted away, it got very hot. I'm really looking forward to fall weather. Anyway, because of the heat, I haven't been outside for very long to take pictures.

I love the color of these morning glories. This vine is growing up the side of our front porch, so I didn't have to go far. It came up as a volunteer a couple of years ago and it's come back every year since. I'm not sure how the poor thing manages to survive, because I never water it. I guess having its roots shaded by a big shrub helps.
