Palm Fruit

Another busy day with no time to think about a blip until late afternoon, but there are still plenty of fascinating plants in the garden to photograph.
My son doesn't like this palm. It is not native, it is too close to the deck and house, the leaf stems are like serrated knives etc. However the fruit add colour and interest to an ordinary palm and there several bromeliads living on the trunk just below the view. Also, there would be a big hole in the view from the house if we removed it.
It is definitely staying for now.
