the girls at the stables work very hard. i'm not sure what how much riding they get to do but they seem quite happy to spend all day clearing up horse muck and leading ponies around the paddock. these are the water buckets for the ponies.

went to see a fab puppet show in the kibble palace (big greenhouse in glasgow's botanic gardens) called the man who planted trees. it was really beautiful with wonderful sets and puppets, great acting, some humour and a good strong message about a man who decided to spend his time planting trees. a real joy. (they are based in edinburgh for those in the 'hood)
