A slice of Lesley's life

Red geraniums

Today has been spent indoors and in motion mainly alternating between washing and tidying random cupboards. Perhaps it's so satisfying because it gets done infrequently or perhaps it would always be that satisfying but I probably shalln't take the risk. This blip comes with a warning for anyone who visits and thinks they know where we keep things in the kitchen. Unfortunately Carl doesn't read blip so they'll be no warning for him before he gets home tonight. Never let it be said I am not doing my bit to keep our relationship fresh.

I have also constructed some exercise bike/cross-trainer thingy. Well, very very almost apart from the two bolts that I am too weedy to tighten - oh, the irony. Really, Carl will be beside himself with joy when he comes home tonight.

A & J have seen their rooms with the new light a break from them gives you and have spent most of the day playing with things that have been happily ignored for ages.

After all that productivity I am looking forward to a night curled up on the sofa with Carl and the West Wing. Well, once he's tightened the bolts and found the plates for dinner.

These are the geraniums outside my front window that are my little piece of the Med in London.I'm not usually a big blipper of flowers as I think it's very hard to do them justice but these have made me happy all day so I'll make an exception.
