2011 Challenge : Water/Ten Minutes - Teddington

A combination of the two themes running this week, water and ten minutes from where you live.

We have been away this last week, visiting the London branch of the family and staying with friends in Teddington. So a ten minute walk from their house brings me to the bridge at Ferry Road, Tide End at Teddington, over the River Thames to Ham. Loads of folk out running here this morning, so I waited to get a shot showing all the shadows.

Our 430 mile journey home was going well until J12 on the M74. The road was closed due to a serious multiple car accident. Delayed us by nearly an hour, however safely home. Why did the rain start as soon as we crossed the Border?
