Photo of a print

I had a lovely day today editing and printing images for my photo course. You have seen two of the still life images on the day they were taken. Since these image dominated my day, it seemed appropriate to show you another. Of course I had to photograph the printed image................not quite ideal, but it is hot off the printer.

This was taken in Haydon Old Church. In a blocked up doorway there are large stones which carry various inscriptions, or in this case, stone carvings. I had to have the tripod as low to the floor as possible, move the huge lectern out of the way, and lie on the (very dusty) floor myself to capture this image.

Last concert of the wonderful Corbridge Music Festival tonight - where every note is cherished and produced to perfection!
