Experimenting with Gaussian blur

I'm working on the Still Life project and used today's blip to do a bit of experimenting with Gaussian blur. I want to make the images in the project - this is not one of them - look even older than they are. Here are a few opium poppy seeds kept from last year in a little Delft vase. After processing they have a softer look, but I did bring back a little sharpness around the top of each head.

It's interesting to work on these techniques.
