Backstroke

Well, no suprise that I was back at the International Childrens Games today.

Not so much time today and therefore not so many pictures. I started off at the Track & Field taking pictures of the Girls Shot Put event and the sprint Relays. However yesterday I was complaining about the strong sunlight but today it was the overcast conditions and eventually the rain showers.

I decided to head for the swimming pool where I could get some pictures indoors away from the rain. I was again speaking to one of the professional photographers whose advice was that if you have a choice of sport avoid the swimming pool as its the most difficult to get decent pictures. They always see it as drawing the short straw if they get assigned to the Pool as opposed to some of the other sports.

I could certainly appreciate what he was getting at but I enjoyed the experience and was quite happy with a few of the shots.
