tethered...

...to a small hanging vine

it was there as i passed by in the neighborhood. i saw a little flash of blue - out of the corner of my eye... what? "why that's going to turn into a flower" i thought. "it just hasn't unfurled yet..."

all by itself... hanging precariously from this itty, bitty slip of a vine - if you can call it that. almost appears to be balanced in mid-air if you took the vine away... boo! the very astounding wonders of nature - bestowed upon a tiny flower - just for me -
