Cat on a hot wooden canapy

Our cat has found a new place to sit. My Dad constructed a wooden canapy for our swing seat from an old fence panel and this is now her favourite spot. I'm not sure if it is because she is nearer to the birds or out of reach from the children. I like that it looks like she is smiling, which she wasn't, as she was most dischuffed with me taking photos.

Oddly more tired than I should be for a relatively calm day if visiting libraries, reading, knitting and cafes. Did save up enough points for cake and looking forward to a retro evening playing on the original playstation.
