The gift

Some time ago, I took a photo of a Lion at the zoo. My friend and colleague Michele did this wonderful, breathtaking picture in pastels from this photo. I felt honoured that she liked my work so much that she wanted to draw it. She is a very talented artist, and I was touched when she later gave me this picture as a gift. Yesterday I brought a picture frame for it.. And today I wanted to share it with you..

I have worked my 12 hours today... Now going to meet Penny and have coffee.. but not at Starbucks! ;)
