Did She Really Do That ?

Very wet day but rain did not stop play.

After our usual Thursday afternoon swim in Lochgilphead with our friend from Tarbert, we headed back down Loch Fyne . Every time we turn down the hill overlooking Tarbert Bay and the reclaimed recreation area where there is a boules play area, John says " Wish I had remembered the Boules". Not this time however as, for the first time ever , the case was in the car.

A bit of smirry rain at the start of the game then the sun came out and chinks of blue appeared in the sky. The game was keenly contested with both men winning while I took photos from the sidelines. Put the camera down , joined in and the shock result of the day was yours truly throwing some fine boules
( pure luck I might add , definitely not expertise ) . Typical men their mouths dropped and they had to come and see this shot of mine and try as they might neither of them came close or even managed to move it with their clever drop shots. One up to the fairer sex I say1

So here is the shot of the winning boule, if you have time to look large you can see them reflected in the boule , looming over to plan their winning tactics.

Probably lose big time next week, but at least I got my fifteen minuts of fame !
