I should avoid checking the weather forecast because when it says 96% chance of rain for the following day it just plants the seed of the idea that it would be a little mad to set off with a bike. As it turned out it was a lovely morning with the light helped by the low cloud that would soon fulfil the forecasters' prediction of pissing rain. Luckily I got to the office before it started.

I'm sure the cycling's a bit dull but bear with me: it's a novelty. Like being a wee boy again out playing before going to school. And besides, there's bugger all else happens all day apart from work.
