Quiet Blipper

Still Life on Water

We anchored in Secret Cove about 30 min before the rain began for the evening and after a long sail up the Sunshine Coast from Bowen Island. A day with some sailing, some motoring. Wind variable but enough to keep us interested and occupied. Strong at times. Not so at others. Mostly on the nose. As we sailed North we could see the weather system ahead of us and knew it would be a rainy night.

A quiet cove and a peaceful spot after a mostly sunny day on the water. We put the enclosure up and sat in the cockpit, dry and cozy. Had great dinner and lots of laughs. Planning for a beach day the next day. ;-)

As the rain gently fell a wonderful hush that comes with soft rainfall descended over the bay. It left a soft light that made for some good photos. I loved this little still life of the sailing life.
