Wedding Invitations.
We finished the wedding invitations this afternoon! They were done last week, but we needed to collect a few more addresses. We are having a small, simple wedding and are already noticing the benefits from the invites alone:
- Less invitations means less expensive.
- Less invitations means more flexibility and creativity. My talented sister designed everything and we had them printed independently. Ribbons? Who really cares about those? Most invites end up in the trash when the event is over. The information is what matters.
- Stamps are costly but not terribly expensive when you're only buying for less than 50 invitations (as opposed to hundreds) and they each weigh the cost of one stamp ($.44).
- It only takes one afternoon to assemble and address invites.
- Easier to manage addresses. Less people to keep track of!
- Less stress. Planning this wedding has been really easy so far!
