Shadow self portrait
Today's feat was cycling the infamous (at least in Austin) 360 "loop". A wide shoulder friendly to cyclists, great views of the treetops, rolling hills, and steady climbs, it makes for a good training ground for cyclists. Hey, if it's good enough for Lance Armstrong to occasionally ride, it's good enough for me.
I had a good friend, who was kind enough to show me the ropes, take me out--patiently waiting for me at the top of the hill (he's a hell of a climber) and telling me in advance what to expect so that I could mentally prepare. His dedication to my novice ways made the ride quite enjoyable, even as tough as it was.
I had another shot that portrayed the steepness of some of the hills, but I thought I couldn't pass up blipping this cooler shadow pic. Guess I'll just have to go back out to 360 a different day to recapture that blip...
