Fashion Victims

OK 2nd go at typing this - an error (again) on the Blip site and all I typed vanished into thin air - Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Anyway, what a great day I had at the 80s Rewind Festival. Loads of great food stalls, funfair, shops, bars, themed things in tents (didn't go in), warm sunny day and evening, great music, great company and the loos were NOT as manky as I had imagined (1st music festival) and only had to wait around 5 mins (very important!).

I smuggled in a bottle of champagne in my chair, Gillian a bottle of Kir Royale, Jill, gin and tonics, Myra had 2 big bags of cocktails but unfortunately Sharon got her chair searched and had to drink her pouch of cocktails at the gate before getting into the site:-(

We set up our site and another great part of the day was the people watching. I was amazed to see many large ladies dressed up in leggings and tutus. Look to the left of this picture for one such lady. She leapt around the place like a ballerina(!) with a really skiny guy trying to catch her and he had a "choose life" t shirt on. Not sure if he was still living by the end of the evening!

Gillian and I bought a couple of long purple wigs and Jill a hat - which Gillian is modelling here. (She will hate me for posting this but it's the only picture I took with her iphone!!
