Inspired by the museum.....

After yesterday's visit to the National Museum of Scotland (absolutely excellent) and whilst I was dusting this morning, I took great interest in this little object which has been sitting on my bedroom mantle-piece for 8 years.

I'd never really looked at it before but was transfixed by the colour. Really struggled to know how to get a good blip from it.

Maybe I need a new lens?
