Who needs a garden hose ?

Had planned to water the garden today but no need to , the rain did it for me, one less task to do , thank you rain.

After all that wonderful warm , golden sunshine all week today seemed very strange , rained all day , that soft smirry , sleakit rain that gets in everywhere. Still had to take Oscar for his long walks in the rain off course but have now battened down the hatches and settled in for the night - well until he needs his evening walk that is.

Might just have a glass of wine , or perhaps brandy as we settle down with a good book and some music.

So here is an earlier than usual upload from me tonight. A wander round the rain soaked garden produced some flowers all laden with raindrops, so here is the anemone hardly able to lift it's pretty little head with all the water drops weighing it down .
